July 24-27, 2023 @Luxor Resort & Casino | The American Glovebox Society (AGS) is a non-profit organization founded in 1986 to promote the advancement of glovebox and containment technology. AGS is a global organization with members from over 20 countries. The Society’s mission is to:
- Promote the safe and responsible use of gloveboxes and containment systems
- Provide a forum for the exchange of information and ideas on glovebox technology
- Develop and promote standards and guidelines for glovebox technology
- Provide educational resources on glovebox technology
AGS accomplishes its mission through a variety of activities, including:
- Publishing a quarterly newsletter, The Enclosure
- Organizing an annual technical conference and equipment exhibition
- Offering educational courses on glovebox technology
- Maintaining a website with resources for glovebox users
- Providing technical assistance to glovebox users
AGS is a valuable resource for anyone involved in the use of gloveboxes or containment systems. The Society’s members include scientists, engineers, technicians, and other professionals from a variety of industries. AGS provides a forum for the exchange of information and ideas on glovebox technology, and the Society’s standards and guidelines are widely used in the industry.
