This Ghanaian-Liberian actor and comedian may have started out performing in small comedy clubs in Los Angeles, but his career has exploded from the year 2000 onward.
You may have seen the hilariously original Michael K. Blackson in the hit comedy Next Friday as the angry African, which garnered him plenty of praise and a much wider fanbase, or through his involvement with BETs ComicView series, HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, Showtime at Harlem, and Live in Hollywood.
His other special guest appearances include P. Diddys Bad Boys of Comedy on HBO and starred in a commercial for the Chappelle Show on Comedy Central.
