If you’re a fan of The Hunger Games (and with more than $3 billion grossed at the box office, literally who isn’t?!), you’re going to absolutely LOVE The Hunger Games: The Exhibit inside MGM Grand. But this isn’t like a regular exhibition, this is a cool exhibition. We’re talking a costume gallery that features nearly 30 original outfits worn by the cast, including the jaw-dropping “Girl on Fire” dress, a recreation of President Snow’s Office, the Tribute Train and interactive features out the wazoo. And you already know it wouldn’t be a Hunger Games exhibit without a real-life archery-training experience set within a 60-foot-wide training lab! And all of this is only the tip of the arrow (see what we did there?).
Though the Las Vegas Strip provides a glittering backdrop, to the drivers at Gene Woods Racing Experience, the blinking lights are all a blur. Behind the wheel of high-performance go-karts, they zip around the 3/8-mile track at up to 45 mph, which is faster than a standard go-kart's top speed. Drivers learn to commandeer the speedy karts through an instructional video before they are let loose onto the curving track for 15-18 heart-pumping laps. Between races, competitors can go head to head in the arcade, or call their father to tell him about what a good job they did on the track.
Get your thrills on the world’s first coaster to feature a 180-degree “heartline” twist and dive maneuver, providing more than 1.4 million riders with heart-stopping action and excitement each year. The fun doesn't stop there! Enjoy the excitement of some of the latest video & arcade games, and attractions in The Big Apple Arcade.
Rides include: Insanity, X-scream, Big shot, and SkyJump | Rising 1,149 feet into the Vegas skyline, the Stratosphere is the tallest freestanding observation tower west of the Mississippi in the U.S. and boasts the Highest Thrill Rides. | 44% Off Tickets | Regular $49.99, Sale Price $27.99 - Includes all taxes & fees
At 1,149 feet, The STRAT Casino, Hotel & Tower is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the country. Its views of Sin City are unparalleled—360-degree vistas from SkyPod indoor and outdoor observation deck—which explains why readers of the Las Vegas Review-Journal named it the Best Place to View the City in 2010–14. The thrill rides on the SkyPod outdoor observation deck are some of the most extreme in the world. You can go jump from 854 feet at the SkyJump, ride a tilt-a-whirl at speeds of up to 3 Gs, and plummet on a free fall ride, all at 1,081 feet above the ground. Afterward, grab a bite to eat at the Top of the World restaurant or a signature cocktail at the tallest bar in Las Vegas.
